We are currently seeking to hire a Civil Technician with Civil 3D design/drafting experience. Please see the qualifications below.

Essential Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology with CAD design/drafting coursework
• Familiarity with Autodesk Civil 3D civil design software
• Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word, as well as intermediate to advanced abilities in Excel
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and be able to walk and climb over rough terrain associated with construction sites
• Able and willing to conduct fieldwork independently or with other team members, either locally or out of town when needed
• A flexible working style, self-motivation, initiative, and a willingness to modify personal schedules as required to meet client needs and project schedules
• Conscientiousness concerning the accuracy, appropriateness, and timeliness of results
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work from the Hayward, WI office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship
• Acceptable driving record
• 2+ years of work experience with Autodesk Civil 3D civil design software
• Previous experience in the construction field serving as a construction site observer
• Possession of applicable WisDOT Technical Certifications
